About the programme

Together, the 6 short e-courses make up a learning program entitled 'Enhancing children's Learning using ICT' (for the overall learning outcomes, see the programme aims). An optional 'summer school' is also available to complement the programme and provide additional practical elements.

Schools must subscribe to the programme as a whole (though each member of staff can choose which courses they take and when they take them). Each course has scheduled start dates. The subscription lasts for 2 years.

It is possible to complete the whole programme in 5 months but staff can spread the learning over a much longer period to suit their needs and personal circumstances.

Each course will be accessed via our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and is tutor and peer supported.

We believe that this is the most cost-effective and rigorous preparation for teachers, teaching assistants and managers who wish to use ICT effectively to support their children's learning.

You can browse a sample of course content (from 'Using ICT across the Curriculum') by visiting our VLE and logging in as a guest (use the enrolment key ' guest ' when prompted). If you like what you see, subscribe to the pogramme as a whole school.
