Synopsis:
Spreadsheets are an integral component of ICT key skills and a useful tool for administration. This course will equip you with the basic skills required to manipulate information and offers some suggestions as to how spreadsheets can be employed in teaching and learning (we will cover either Access 2003 or 2007 as required).

Who is this course for:
This course is for classroom practitioners, administrators and managers with a need to store, manipulate and present information. The process  may take the form of simple arithmetic operations and charting or storage and manipulation of numerical information such as assessments.

Objectives:
To become familiar with menus, toolbars, workbooks, worksheets, data entry, formatting, and sorting &
  filtering.  
To carry out basic calculations using excel formulas.
To produce simple charts and graphs.

Duration:
Full day (can be tailored to a half-day / twilight session if required).

Facilities Required:
The presenter will require access to a PC with: digital projector and screen (preferably an
interactive whiteboard) and MS Excel.
Each participant will require access to a computer and MS Excel.
