Synopsis:
MS Outlook is perhaps the most widely used communication and organisational tool and yet its powerful features are rarely used to their full extent. This course aims to introduce the main features of Outlook in order to help you manage your administration more effectively (we will cover Outlook 2003 or 2007).

If you intend using Outlook to handle your email, manage your appointments and meetings, and document your task list then this course is for you.
Objectives:
▪To set up MS Outlook and associate it with your email account.
▪To handle email messages including: creation, attachments, saving, sending, receiving, forwarding,
managing, and meetings.
▪To create, edit and use contact lists.
▪To make effective use of the calendar and task list.
Duration:
Full day (can be tailored to a half-day / twilight session if required).
Facilities Required:
The presenter will require access to a PC with: digital projector and screen (preferably an
interactive whiteboard) and MS Outlook.
Participants will each require access to a computer with MS Outlook installed. For maximum benefit, both presenter and participants would be able to exchange email messages via Microsoft Exchange Server.
