Synopsis:
Many practitioners can use the basic features of PowerPoint to help them create more dynamic lessons. However, the advanced features of PowerPoint can add a new dimension to your teaching and offer a more personalised learning experience. This course offers practitioners with the expertise required to produce some truly wonderful teaching and learning resources (we will cover PowerPoint 2003 or 2007).
Who is this course for:
Practitioners who are confident in using PowerPoint and would like to add more creativity to their teaching are encouraged to undertake this course.
Objectives:
▪To use advanced functions of PowerPoint to create dynamic and effective resources.
▪To use the advanced functions of PowerPoint - slide templates & masters, drawing skills, linking and
embedding objects, advanced transition & animation effects, advanced presenting, publishing to the web.
▪To create a personalised teaching and learning resource for your class or school.
Duration:
Full day (can be tailored to a half-day / twilight session if required).
Facilities Required:
The presenter will require access to a PC with: digital projector and screen (preferably an
interactive whiteboard), MS PowerPoint and a connection to the Internet.

A working knowledge of PowerPoint is assumed.
