Synopsis:
This course will demonstrate how you can create effective presentations using only the basic features of Microsoft PowerPoint.  It will also show how the built in multimedia features of PowerPoint will undoubtedly improve the teaching and learning experience, providing motivating and interactive lessons (we will cover PowerPoint 2003 or 2007).

Who is this course for:
Practitioners who need to improve their basic PowerPoint skills in order to use it creatively in the classroom and as a personal presentation tool will find this course of huge benefit.

Objectives:
To explore the potential of PowerPoint as a teacher tool.
To use the basic functions of PowerPoint proficiently - screen layout, creating a presentation, formatting a
  presentation, views, working with clipart, tables & charts, proofing tools, transition & animation effects,
  presenting a slide show, printing options.
To produce (and share) a creative learning resource in PowerPoint.

Duration:
Full day (can be tailored to a half-day / twilight session if required).

Facilities Required:
The presenter will require access to a PC with: digital projector and screen (preferably an
interactive whiteboard), MS PowerPoint
and a connection to the Internet.
Each participant will require access to a computer, MS PowerPoint,
and preferably a connection to the Internet.
