Synopsis:
This course introduces features of the interactive SmartBoard including: setting up, making selections, writing and text entry, floating tools, the Smart Notebook, PowerPoint presentations, screen capture, on-screen keyboard, and interactive software. The session is practical but with a pedagogical undertone.

This course is primarily for classroom practitioners who want to include this valuable, motivating resource into their teaching practice.
Objectives:
▪To demonstrate and practice the features of an interactive SmartBoard.
▪To outline the way in which the SmartBoard may be used to enhance the learning experience.
▪To identify a number of interactive software titles and information sources.
Duration:
Full day (can be tailored to a half-day / twilight session if required).
Facilities Required:
The presenter will require access to a PC, digital projector, SmartBoard, MS PowerPoint and a connection to the Internet.
Each participant will require access to a computer with Smart Notebook loaded and preferably a connection to the Internet
