Synopsis:
Creation of a website can be as simple as word-processing. This course looks at producing colourful and interesting web pages using MS Word and either MS FrontPage or Macromedia DreamWeaver (your choice). It begins with text, simple images and navigation and introduces the use of multimedia and dynamic objects. At all times the principle is to 'keep it simple'.

Who is this course for:
If you have a responsibility for your setting's website or simply a desire to contribute web pages to it then this course is for you.

Objectives:
▪To outline the criteria for an effective website and the packages which can be used to produce them.   
▪To create a simple web page using MS Word. 
▪To create a set of web pages (website) using MS FrontPage and basic HTML tags.

Duration:
Full day.

Facilities Required:
The presenter will require access to a PC with: digital projector and screen (preferably an
interactive whiteboard), MS Word, MS FrontPage and a connection to the Internet.
Each participant will require access to a computer, MS Word, MS FrontPage and preferably a connection to the Internet.
