Synopsis:
Many practitioners are familiar with the basic features of Word and use them everyday in both their personal and professional life.  However, the advanced features that Word has to offer are often under utilised even though their use could save time and energy!  This unique course aims to exploit these features from a teacher's perspective (we will cover either Word 2003 or 2007 as required).

Who is this course for:
Practitioners who are confident in using Word and would now like to use the advanced features that Word has to offer will find this course invaluable.

Objectives:
To use advanced functions of Word to reduce teacher workload and improve efficiency.
To use the advanced functions of Word  - utilising automatic features, inserting advanced objects, forms
  & document protection, consistent formatting using styles, working with long documents, mail merge,
  constructing templates, introduction to macros.
To compile (and share) a learning resource in Word using your newfound skills.

Duration:
Full day (can be tailored to a half-day / twilight session if required).

Facilities Required:
The presenter will require access to a PC with: digital projector and screen (preferably an
interactive whiteboard) and MS Word.
Each participant will require access to a computer and MS Word.
